IMPROVEMENT OF THE METROLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF VELOCITY TYPE AXIAL FLUID FLOW RATE TRANSDUCERS
Disadvantages of the existing velocity type axial fluid flow rate transducers which can limit using devices grounded on it were analyzed. Ways to improve their metrological characteristics were shown. Mathematical model features of velocity type axial fluid flow rate transducers with balanced sensitive elements were considered. A technique for determining the sensitive element axial movement based on combining the primary transducer hydraulic calculation and the sensitive element motion equations was grounded. The algorithm of sensitive element equilibrium conditions research was shown. The direction for future research is related to different investigations of velocity type flow rate transducers with modern technologies of virtual simulation (CFD-technologies) and search for ways to improve meters based on axial turbine type flow rate transducers.
Keywords: flow rate transducer, sensitive element balancing, equilibrium conditions, mathematic modeling.
